I have spent a very exciting 3 weeks on an internship at Aardman animations working on the 'Shaun the Sheep Movie'This has been a fantastic learning experience for me. For 2 weeks I was working as an animation assistant making replacement mouth shapes and eyelids for the Farmer and Bitzer characters. For the last week I did some animation tests with a ball and socket puppet from their previous film 'Pirates! in an adventure with Scientists' whose name was Faraday. Below you can see the test animation I made along with some photos of the process.
Things are steadily moving forward on my final film which will be an animated documentary on the themes of home, place and borders. Click the button below to be linked to my development blog where you can view my research and work so far!
